Employee Giving
Our employee giving program is designed to enhance the impact of charitable contributions in our local communities. This program, along with corporate matching funds, allows our people to recommend grants to charitable organizations of their choice. Together, we seek to foster innovative ideas, address economic and social issues and enable progress in local underserved communities.1
Supporting Youth Charitable Organizations
During the holiday season, we support youth-focused charitable organizations through employee volunteer programs. Each year we purchase and donate over 1,500 gifts to children and families in need. Close to 100 employee volunteers shop, organize and execute special events where children receive their presents.
Goldman Sachs Community TeamWorks
Through Community TeamWorks, our people work in partnership with local nonprofit organizations on team-based volunteer projects. At least one day a year, people from our offices around the country go out into their communities and help drive tangible progress in the places where they work and live.
Each year we serve over 700 nonprofit organizations and contribute to over 1,300 projects worldwide.
Our clients wishing to advance their charitable giving aspirations have access to a highly personalized donor-advised fund. Established in 1995, the fund has distributed over $1.6 billion to charitable organizations across the United States during its 20+ years.
Past grants have supported disaster relief, higher education, community and human services, religious institutions, the environment and animal protection charities.

1Our employee giving program is a donor-advised fund maintained at the Ayco Charitable Foundation through which Ayco and its associates can recommend grants to qualified nonprofit organizations. The Ayco Charitable Foundation makes the final approval on all grant distributions.
