SARATOGA SPRINGS, NEW YORK — Following final approvals issued this week by the Town of Colonie, Ayco announced today that it will lease an approximately 150,000 square-foot office building in the Town of Colonie, New York.
"We’re pleased to realize our goal of creating a new space for our people to collaborate, connect and importantly, better serve our clients," said Ayco’s President and CEO, Larry Restieri.
The building site is located at Exit 7 off the Northway at the location of the former Starlite Music Theater. The Galesi Group, the site’s developer, will now begin preparing the site for construction.
Ayco currently has three existing offices in the Capital Region—in Latham, Albany and Saratoga Springs—and aims to begin moving people to the new building in phases beginning in early 2020. Ayco intends to bring at least 160 new jobs to the Town of Colonie by 2021.
"Ayco was established in the Capital Region almost 50 years ago," said Larry Restieri. "In planning this next phase for our organization, it was important for us to maintain a presence in the area that has supported our growth since our founding."
Ayco will continue its extensive philanthropic work throughout the Capital Region through Ayco Gives, Ayco Gives for Kids and Community TeamWorks, programs that allow Ayco employees to give back to the communities in which they live and work through grants and hands-on projects.

Designed by Syversten Rigosu Architects, PLLC., the new LEED-certified building will be four stories with approximately 150,000 square-feet of professional office space, including a cafeteria and meeting spaces, among other amenities. The construction manager for the project is LeChase Construction Services. Plans are still being developed by The Galesi Group for other establishments on site.
